Following our strategy of 'opening up to put people and their needs at heart', we have created a Vi in-store material palette and experience.
Our materials and finishes work together to create a fresh and inviting environment and the facia, entrance, and digital screens create visual drama and act as an invitation to explore and be inspired.
Materials are simple, modern, durable, easy to maintain and form the perfect backdrop allowing our products and comms to bring energy and vibrancy - the spirit of the brand at its best.
Our environmental and structural materials and finishes should work together to create a fresh and inviting in-store environment that is clearly Vi. Colouring should reflect our primary brand colours — Crimson and white should lead with Mustard used as a highlight colour.
Light, soft and natural materials givethe space a calming comfortable feel. Glass and wooden finishes can be used to give a light and open effect while playing to our secondary palette.
Our supporting colour palette should be used to complement our primary palette in areas such as wall finishes and store furniture. The light colours from our secondary palette help to freshen and lighten our primary palette.
Flooring and soft furnishings used should be in harmony with our brand colour palette. Where possible materials should be sustainable and locally sourced to support our local industry – truly embodying putting people at the centre of the brand.
Plants and soft lighting can help soften the space. Light coloured woods form the perfect backdrop allowing our products and comms to bring energy and vibrancy - the spirit of the brand at its best.

Co-branding provides us with the opportunity to feature our partner relationships and build both brands’ equity. The visual treatment of the co-branded piece depends on the partner brand and the purpose of the application.
It is impossible to predict what will work for every partner brand so always refer to the partner brand’s guidelines when co-branding to ensure the visual treatment works for both brands.
For standalone applications like out-of-home, this relationship could be Vi-lead or partner-lead depending on the situation. Vi-lead applications should follow our usual brand guidance but feature the Vi-lead partnership logo lockup and copy that clearly speaks to the partnership.
Partner-lead applications should follow partner brand design guidance and use small touches of our brand if possible (this depends on partner brand guidance) – our partner-lead partnership lockup should feature.
For environment-in-environment applications like promotional banners on the Vi website or retail store-in-stores, visual treatment should be predominantly our partner’s brand. This is a situation where the co-branded use is already sitting within a Vi branded environment, so the application should hero our partner’s logo and colours to ensure customers recognise the brand.
This can still feature some elements of our brand, like one of our trails in the partner brand’s colours or mustard dot display stands, but these should only be small touches.
